When it comes to beauty I love hearing what tips and tricks other people have. Throughout my years of makeup, haircare and skincare use I've found out some amazing tips that I now use all the time and have made my life a lot easier. Today I wanted to share with you the top 10 that I find the most useful and think you might too!
- Remove glitter nail polish with tin foil - soak a cotton pad in nail polish remove wrap it round your finger with tinfoil over it (like the salons do) and leave for 5-10 minutes, after that the nail polish should slide off.
- Heat up eyelash curlers with the hairdryer - I blast mine for about 5-10 seconds just to make them a little warm and they curl your lashes much easier and they stay curled for longer.
- Dry your makeup brushes with the hairdryer - after i've washed my brushes I hate how long it takes for them to dry and they can even feel damp days later when applying makeup. I blast each of mine for about 30 seconds on medium heat and they are completely dry.
- Use coconut oil for everything - this year everyone has been all about using coconut oil for cooking as a healthier alternative but I use mine in my hair and on my skin, it makes a great hair mask over night and also a deep moisturiser for your skin.
- Learn your face shade before contouring - contouring is great for creating structure but if you don't apply it according to your face shape then it won't be as beneficial; I have a more detailed post all about this here.
- Apply foundation to your lips before lipstick - I do this as it evens out the line between my lips and skin and also provides a better base for the lip colour.
- Always exfoliate before fake tanning - remove dead skin and existing tan is the best way to get an even tan application and make it last longer.
- Use eyeshadow as eyeliner - if your ever want an eyeliner that isn't black or you don't have one at all simply apply a little water or mixing solution to an eyeshadow and use that.
- Coloured concealers are your friend - I'm a recent convert to these, green minimises red areas and yellow is perfect for getting rid of those dark eye circles.
- Wet your beauty blender - using a damp beauty blender with give you a much better finish than a dry one does.
What are some of your beauty tips?

I absolutely love coconut oil it's been so good to my skin! I'll be trying the tinfoil trick sounds like a perfect solution as glitter polishes are so stubborn!

I always dry my brushes with a hairdryer i find it keeps them much softer too! I like to use blushers as eyeshadows especially in Spring/Summer.
