PAMPER EVENING FAVOURITES

There is nothing more I love than having an evening to myself and just pampering myself. I always find that looking after my hair/skin/nails makes me feel much better and ready for the next day ahead. Whilst I do use these products on a day-to-day or weekly basis its just nicer when you have a whole evening to do it all and watch a nice film in bed.
The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask | £11.00 (post)

I have actually really gotten into wearing face masks recently but a pamper night wouldn't be complete without a mask. This one from The Body Shop warms up as you apply it to wet so you can feel it working a lot more - you can also reheat it once its cooled on your face by massaging again with wet hands. Its perfect for all skin type and absorbs to oil from your face and draws out any dirt.

This is one of my favourite tans as it doesn't have that biscuit smell you get with others. I like to apply my fake tan after a shower/bath and a deep exfoliation to get rid of all the dead skin and existing tan.

Of course a hair mask is part of my routine. One issue I have with my highlighted hair is that it was get dry and brittle quickly so a mask is important to be. I apply elasticizer over night with a plastic shower cap on to stop it ruining my sheets, and wash it off the following day along with my fake tan.

My pamper always begins with removing my makeup for the day and to make sure I get rid of all the impurities I like to you a deep cleanser. This Body Shop cleansing butter melts away makeup and leaves my skin clean and refreshed. I apply this all over my face and then use a hot muslin cloth to remove it.

On a pamper evening i'll always apply a moisture mask over night to rehydrate my skin - especially as sometimes a clay mask can dry it out. This can be applied and then removed or left on over night, I tend to do the latter.

I always paint my nails on a pamper evening, especially since you need a lot of time for this and to make sure they are dry. I'm always repainting my nails and sometimes this can leave them brittle so a base coat is important. The NailKale one from Nails Inc is infused with kale extract to strength the nails but also creates a good base for the colour to be applied to. In the bottle it does have a green tint to it but that doesn't translate to the nails at all, so can be worn on its own.

What products do you use on a pamper evening?

  5. I rarely get to have a pamper evening but when I do, a mask is a must. I love the sound of the warming mask, which I seem to be really into right now even though we are meant to be heading into spring! LOL! xxx
