NYX LIP COLLECTION

NYX has really taken the UK by storm and especially since its readily available from Boots, Selfridges, ASOS and Feel Unique. I've gone a bit crazy with NYX lately and have gotten quite a collection of their lip products now. I'm so impressed with their products and everything is affordable, so here is my collection of their lip products.

Lip Lingerie | £6.50 | post

If you're a beauty lover then you will have more than likely seen these or tried them yourself! I already have a much more detailed post up on my blog (link above) so I won't go into too much detail but this collection includes a range of 12 nude shades for every skin tone. I have four shades from the collection; Honeymoon (greyish nude), Beauty Mark (chocolate brown), Embellishment (purple nude) and Bedtime Flirt (pink nude). I had to do a lot of research on swatches of the shades before I bought some as they swatches on Boots are awful. However, I'm happy with the shades I picked and they are all quite different, i'm hoping to pick up Exotic and Lace Up soon. The formula of these are soft and buttery and it almost feels like you aren't wearing anything. They can be a little drying but if you apply a balm its fine and the longevity is pretty good.

Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick | £6.50

I had to buy some of these after a girl on my makeup course had the shade Amethyst and I was obsessed! This collection is a range of brighter shades with a few nudes. I have three shades; Amethyst (deep violet blue), Orange County (vibrant peachy orange) and Sandstorm (cool toned nude). The formula of these is a little creamier and thick compared to the Lip Lingerie but still comfortable to wear and the longevity is great. I've been loving Sandstorm for an everyday nude, i've yet to wear the other two shades as I think they are a little out there for everyday.

Soft Matte Lip Cream | £5.50 | post

These blogger favourites are an absolute dream of a liquid lipstick. The formula of these are so soft and creamy but almost mousse like and sit on your lips like you have nothing on. I currently have three shades but lots more on my wishlist. Cannes is a soft rose pink, London is a cool coffee nude and Prague is a vibrant have pink. I'll definitely be picking up some more of these soon and i'm eyeing up some more of a red/purple shades soon.

Butter Gloss | £5.00

I picked these up as I wanted something for everyday wear which would give me colour but not dry my lips out. The formula is glossy but not overly stick and gives your lips a slight tint of colour. I would say the longevity is about 3-4 hours and obviously less if you've eaten but reapplication is easy with the sponge applicator. The two shades I have are Peaches & Cream (soft pink) and Tiramisu (glossy nude), I actually think Tiramisu is very similar to London just a glossy version.
