HAIRCARE EDIT

When it comes to haircare finding the perfect products is important to keep it in good condition. Having my hair highlighted every 2-3 months and constantly drying/straightening my hair leaves is dry and lack lustre. This post is a mixture of old favourites and some new products that I have only just discovered.
Pro-Voke Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo | £3.19

When I get my hair dyed it can sometimes leave me with brassy yellow tones, silver shampoo is the perfect solution to that. I tend to use this once or twice a week to brighten my hair and always follow with a moisturising shampoo and conditioner, as I find the silver shampoo can dry my hair a little. One thing to be careful about is not to leave this on too long as you can get a purple tint to your hair.

Bleach London Reincarnation Mask | £6.00

I like to use a mask on my hair once every week or so or if my hair is feeling dry and brittle. This Bleach one is made specifically for those who dye their hair a lot and so perfect for me, it improved the elasticity of their hair and leaves it feeling moisturised. It says to apply for around 10-20 minutes but i'll always leave mine on for a couple of hours or overnight for extra moisture.

Tresemme Oil Elixir | £8.99

For as long as I can remember i've been using oil on my hair to lock in the moisture and keep it soft. I'm normally a fan of Moroccan Oil but was on the hunt for a cheaper alternative recently. This Tresemme Oil Elixir contains both Argan and Almond oil to leave the hair silky smooth and shiny. I apply this from the mid lengths to the end of my hair avoiding the roots so they don't get greasy.

Angel Tangle Brush | £13.95

Detangling brushes have got to be one of the best inventions for people with long and thick hair like me. I picked up this Angle Tangle brush as I wanted one with a handle so my hands didn't end up wet like they do with a tangle teezer. This brush removes all the nots in my hair instantly and doesn't pull like other brushes do.

Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer | £30.00 per 150ml

When I received this in a beauty box I was excited to see what everyone was hyped about and boy it didn't disappoint. The elastcizer helps strengthen even the most damaged hair and reduces breakage. I've been applying this to my damp hair and leaving it on for a few hours or overnight and my hair is left soft, smooth and silky with added shine.

Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Primer | £20.50 per 250ml

I fell in love with this pretty much as soon as I started using it. I apply to my wet hair before blow drying and it reduces the frizz and smooths out my hair so it doesn't even really need straightening.

What are your haircare picks?
