FREEDOM MAKEUP | FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I've been wanting to try some bits from Freedom Makeup for a while now as i've been told quite a few times its really great quality at a great price. I decided to of my research first and pick out some bits that other people recommended and this led me to all of these. Overall, I didn't find the service too bad although the deliver was a little longer than I thought and I was missing an item from my order and still haven't received a refund! However, i'm loving the products I did receive so here they are.

I'm always on the hunt for something I can use to clean my brushes on the go. I've been using this on my brushes every couple of days to freshen them up and it definitely removes lots of products and leaves them smelling clean. I'll still be cleaning mine properly once a week but this is great for a freshen up, especially my foundation and concealer brushes.

I also completely forgot to mention that this had leaked in the packing as well, but luckily it didn't destroy any of the other products and wasn't missing loads - but still annoying! I wanted to try this as i'd never tried a priming water before and have been tempted to pick up the Smashbox one. I've been using this spritzed lightly on my face before foundation or on my beauty blender to set my concealer and foundation. I have found that my concealer and foundation sets a lot better but overall I haven't noticed a different in longevity when using this.

I picked out this as it sounds like a great dupe for the Pixie Glow Tonic. I haven't actually used the Pixie version but the colour looks the same and this one definitely gives you a glow like i've heard the Pixie one does. I've been using this when my skin is looking a little dull and tired and it brightens my skin and makes it appear more radiant.

48 shades for £15.00?! Who wouldn't want it! I actually got this for £10.00 in the sale as well! the palette is a mixture of nudes, browns, blues and blacks with either a matte or shimmer finish. The pigmentation of these is good and they blend easily on the eye and you really do have every neutral shade you could ask for!

I picked this out as I've actually never used a powder to fill my brows in before so wanted to give something a try and this is so affordable. I've been using this after defining them with a pencil and they are definitely left looking fuller and thicker.

I've been on the hunt for something to use when contouring my face as my favourite highlight shade has ran out from my ABH cream contour kit and then this came into my life. It has 6 different shades which are all perfect for highlighting different parts of your face and concealing my dark circles.

Have you tried any products from Freedom Makeup? If so what are your favourites?

  4. Wow that eyeshadow palette! Love the idea of an ABH brow powder dupe too. I've not actually tried Freedom, though I hear the quality is similar to Makeup Revolution xx

  9. I've tried products from Freedom before and I must say it can be kind of hit and miss with their make-up but their eyeshadow palettes are amazing. The pigmentation is brilliant and that palette you picked up is so pretty! The duo eyebrow powder is always something I've wanted to pick up and now I know I should!
