FAKE TAN FAVOURITES

I'm actually shocked that I haven't done a post like this already, especially as I'm a bit of a fake tan addict. This post is going to be all about that products I like to use to get the perfect bronzed skin. I've been fake tanning for years now and have tried a fair few different products and some have been amazing and some not so much. So here are the products that I would recommend to anyone else.

I got this product in the £30 set that S&P bring out at Christmas and originally thought i'd never use it as I always want a tan that will last. However, it's the perfect product to use if you ever need to tan at the last minute and don't want to go too orange (the look you can get from instant tan before it's washed off). I've been applying this before nights out when i've forgotten to apply the night before and you get a lovely glow to the skin and it also leaves the skin soft and moisturised.

For months I heard rave reviews about Bondi Sands but just hadn't tried it. I picked up this as something to use between when I use an instant tan. I'm so obsessed with the smell of this, the cocoa butter leaves my skin smelling delicious and it also contain aloe vera and vitamin e to keep the skin soft and flake free. I find that this helps maintain my tan for longer, I use it most days and always exfoliate first to make sure it has an even application.

I was a loyal St Moriz user for years before being converted to this favourite. Cocoa Brown gives me the most gorgeous sun kissed glow and doesn't seem to have that biscuits smell you have with others. I normally use the dark version but I've ran out, however whichever one I use tends to last about 3 days before its goes patchy or fades.

This is actually the first step in my fake tan routine as exfoliating first is vital to getting a smooth tan. My favourite product to use currently is the S&G Scrub of your Life to remove any dead skin and existing tan. I use this with exfoliating gloves from Primark and they are some of the best i've used and so cheap at £1 for 2 pairs!

What are your fake tan favourites?

  6. Haven't tried any of these! One of my favorite fake-tan products is the mouse from St. Tropez. Will have to give that Soap and Glory body scrub a try! I have one that comes in a big jar, the tube would be so much easier to use in the shower!

  7. Does anyone else get patches of skin that don't take tan? Even if I scrub and moisturise it doesn't make a difference!
I do however love the Cocoa Brown tan as well as St Tropez.

  8. I'm so bad at home tanning I've given up on it, but it's good to have some product recommendations which work well.
