How quick is this going?! I can't believe its almost May already. I haven't really been looking forward to it as its full of deadlines and exams for me, but ill soon be done with education forever. Aprils favourites is full of quite a few new products as I got a little spendy with my student loan.

I've really started trying out a lot of new foundations recently and drugstores one are definitely my go to at the moment. Since the Lasting Perfection Concealer is a favourite of mine I wanted to try out one of the Collection Foundations. I picked up the Illuminating Touch Foundation in a Boots haul recently as it was on offer at £3.99 and I just couldn't pass it up.

NYX has really taken the UK by storm and especially since its readily available from Boots, Selfridges, ASOS and Feel Unique. I've gone a bit crazy with NYX lately and have gotten quite a collection of their lip products now. I'm so impressed with their products and everything is affordable, so here is my collection of their lip products.

Skincare is definitely something that I need to focus more on, so when the student loans dropped the other week I decided to treat myself to some new skincare pieces. I have combination skin so depending on how my skin is feeling I need to try out different products, I would say my main issue is and oily t-zone and dullness. So here is a run down of the products i've been trying out recently.

I've been wanting to try some bits from Freedom Makeup for a while now as i've been told quite a few times its really great quality at a great price. I decided to of my research first and pick out some bits that other people recommended and this led me to all of these. Overall, I didn't find the service too bad although the deliver was a little longer than I thought and I was missing an item from my order and still haven't received a refund! However, i'm loving the products I did receive so here they are.

My makeup collection is pretty expansive (or excessive as my mum keeps telling me) and if I find a brand I love I have a lot of products from them. Rimmel is one of those drugstore brands I think everyone loves, myself included. With collections from Kate Moss, Rita Ora and the upcoming Cara Delevingne (excited!), there is always new and fresh products coming up and they are of a great quality! I have been using Rimmel for years and have picked up some absolute gems of products along the way and tried some I don't love so much, but here are my favourites from them.

When I saw that NYX were releasing an entire collection of nude liquid lipsticks I just had to try them. I really love the NYX Matte Lip Creams (post) so was expecting a lot from these and they haven't disappointed. The collection includes 12 nude shades ranging from pinks to browns all with a matte finish. The Lip Lingeries are priced at £6.50 and available from Boots in the UK.

I think you'll agree with me when I say that being a girl is hard sometimes, I mean we have nails, hair and eyebrows that all need to be looked after. So when I find a salon treatment I can do at home its my new best friend - it also means you don't have to travel to an appointment and so much more affordable. I've had my eyebrows and eyelashes both tinted at a salon before but never thought of doing it to myself at home, until the Colorsport 30 Day Brow Tint* came into my life. Initially I thought to myself that this could go horrible wrong and end up with some really dodgy eyebrows or the skin around them dyed as well, but the instructions were so easy to follow and so I gave it a go.

There is nothing more I love than having an evening to myself and just pampering myself. I always find that looking after my hair/skin/nails makes me feel much better and ready for the next day ahead. Whilst I do use these products on a day-to-day or weekly basis its just nicer when you have a whole evening to do it all and watch a nice film in bed.

One of my favourite things about makeup is that you can always seem to find a cheaper alternative to some more expensive products. Whilst I still have a special place in my heart for high end products and will continue to but them finding a great, cheaper alternative is always a bonus. I wouldn't say these are dupes for high end as I haven't tried all the high end alternative to say whether they can truly be a dupe. However, in my opinion these have both the look and feel i'd imagine the high end ones too.

When it comes to haircare finding the perfect products is important to keep it in good condition. Having my hair highlighted every 2-3 months and constantly drying/straightening my hair leaves is dry and lack lustre. This post is a mixture of old favourites and some new products that I have only just discovered.

When it comes to beauty I love hearing what tips and tricks other people have. Throughout my years of makeup, haircare and skincare use I've found out some amazing tips that I now use all the time and have made my life a lot easier. Today I wanted to share with you the top 10 that I find the most useful and think you might too!

Recently I have a bit of a false lash lover and starter wearing them more and more every day. Eyelure have to be one of my favourite brands and their selection of lashes is amazing. The House of Holland 'FLUFF'* collection has just launched and was created by Eyelure and Henry Holland himself. The collection includes 3 different lashes for 3 different looks, they are all priced at £5.95 each so affordable and can be used multiple times.

I'm actually shocked that I haven't done a post like this already, especially as I'm a bit of a fake tan addict. This post is going to be all about that products I like to use to get the perfect bronzed skin. I've been fake tanning for years now and have tried a fair few different products and some have been amazing and some not so much. So here are the products that I would recommend to anyone else.

Oh Hello Spring - Finally! I'm so glad the weather finally seems to be improving and its actually still light at 7pm thanks to the clocks changing! With Spring coming it means that the deep berry tones and red lipsticks are put away in favour of soft nudes and pinks. This time of year I find its the your lips but better shades that are perfect and here is my selection of spring shades.
