Happy Easter Sunday everybody! I hope you're all having a lovely day stuffing your faces with chocolate! This is the second part of my spring nail picks (part one here) since I just had too many to put in one post. This one is all about the brights and the shades i'll be picking more in May/June time especially since we get ones day of sunshine then the wet and cold weather makes a reappearance. I've realise recently I have way too many nail polishes and lots of them are shades i'd never wear or duplicates of another. So i've been thinking about doing a giveaway with any full or nearly full bottles that I either don't wear or already have that colour - so please let me know if you'd be interested so I can sort it out! Anyway back to my spring brights picks...
Barry M have got to be one of the best nail polish brands out there and the speedy collection is one I'm loving. If you're impatient like me then waiting for your nails to dry is a nightmare and the speedy collection do actually dry quickly. Need for Speed is a vibrant violet shade, but still one of those that can be worn in all seasons.
I've been loving the China Glaze recently and have quite a few from them but this one is one of my favourites and perfect for spring and summer. It's a sort of pastel peach shade and complements tanned skin perfectly.
Barry M Matte in Waikiki | £3.99
I've tried to find this online and can't seem to see if so i'm assuming it was limited edition. Waikiki is one of those shades thats a little bit out there but paired with a simple outfit it's perfect.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Short Cir-Cute | £9.99
The miracle gel polishes are some of my favourites simply for the staying powder they have, you apply the colour and then seal it with the top coat. Short Cir-Cute is a tangerine orange shade and another that goes perfectly with a tan. The polishes are also great and the you get an opaque look in just one coat, although I would suggest applying two.
I wore this shade all spring and summer last year and was so happy when I could start wearing it again. I find this hard to describe as its sort of a pastel neon pink shade if you understand what I mean.
