L'OREAL MINI HAUL

Recently L'Oreal launched a whole new range of Infallible Sculpting products, ranging from products for eyes and brows to contouring and blush. Whilst these products from their original Infallible range have been out for a while I'd yet to try them until now. When I was shopping with my mum recently and L'Oreal products where all 3 for 2 in Boots she kindly treated me to some of their products.

I was after a new setting spray for a while now after running out of the KIKO one I was using. I'd heard this one was just as good or even better than the Urban Decay setting spray i've been after for a while, so I wanted to try this before taking the plunge and getting the UD one. When I first sprayed this on my face I ended up with little white splash marks, which I was not expecting, but I think I sprayed it too close to my face or hadn't shaken the bottle enough as it hasn't happened since. Ever since i've been using this my makeup does last longer and even after a long day at uni it still looks as i've just put it on, so i'd definitely recommend.

I wasn't on the hunt for a foundation at all as I got the new YSL one just a week ago, but as I was buying the setting spray and primer I wanted to try all three together. I tried out a few shades and ending up opting for Sand, I was shocked about this as it was the second or third from the darkest and I am by no means dark skinned - I have read by some people the shade selection in the UK is awful. In terms of the finish it's definitely matte and reduces any shine I get in my t-zone, however, the matte finish did leave my face feeling a little dry when combined with the primer and cold weather. The coverage isn't too heavy but still lasts a while and doesn't wear off throughout the day.

Yet again my Smashbox primer had ran out and I wanted to see if this could be a great alternative. In terms of texture and consistency this is very similar to the Smashbox one, you  only need a tiny bit to cover your face and it immediately mattifies and reduces shine. I've used this with a few different foundations now and still keeps my skin looking fairly matte even if the foundation isn't and keeps my makeup looking flawless for longer.

Have any of your tried these products together?!

  2. I'm an old fan of the Urban Decay setting sprays but this one actually sounds pretty good! It's rare to find a setting spray in the drugstore especially in the UK so I'll definitely be making a trip to Boots thanks to you :)
