VALENTINES DAY MAKEUP

Happy Valentines Day everybody! I hope your all have a lovely day, whether your spending it with a partner, friends or family! I celebrated mine yesterday with my boyfriend as we headed out for a meal in Bournemouth as he is visiting me for the week and today will be spent cosied up watching films before he heads home tonight. I also wanted to say a massive Happy Birthday to my mum today if you're reading this and sorry I can't be there! Valentines day is quite special for us girls as it means being able to get a little glammed and this makeup look is perfect for a quiet lunch out or a hot date.

BASE

EYES & BROWS

When it comes to creating a valentines day makeup the UD Naked 3 palettes has the best selection of pinks, golds and browns for either a sultry smokey eye or a simple day look. The ultimate mascara for long lashes with volume has to be the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, I have actually almost finished mine so I think it will be time for a new one soon! To keep your brows in place and defined then Benefits Gimme Brow is perfect, it adds colour, tidies up and keeps in place for a prolonged period.

LIPS

Since it valentines day then a pink lip is a must, I recently picked up MAC's Steady Going from Bicester Village where it was £11 - bargain!! It's a pale pink with a matte finish so can be worn from day to night. Anther pink that is perfect for valentines is the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in peony, the dusky pink shade is actually very similar to Steady Going but the colour play off is more intense and I love the sweet smell these have.

FINISHES

Makeup Revolutions Goddess of Love Highlighter is the most gorgeous shimmery champagne shade and adds just the right amount of shimmer to your face. I also love the little hearts they comes packaged in and would make the perfect valentines present. To finish the look off a blush of red across the cheeks is a must, the KIKO Rebel Bouncy Blushes have an intense colour play off and they are cream based so something a little different.
