THE PURPLE EDIT | NAILS

Recently i've been loving wearing a purple nail, I feel like its one of those perfect transitional colours from winter to summer and there is such a variety of shades. I'm even sat writing this post with purple nails!

I got this polish in my nailbox a few months ago now and its a brand i'd never actually heard of before. Wisteria Haze is a soft blueish purple shade, however, you do need a couple of shades to get an opaque finish. This polish is perfect if you want something long lasting as i've worn it for almost a week with no chips.

I'm a massive fan of the nail polishes from AVON and have amassed quite a collection. Perfectly plum is the more wintery shade out of them all and they is a very faint shimmer in the polish but you can't really tell in this picture. Although this is advertised as a gel polish it isn't as thick as you would expect although you do get full coverage from 2 coats.

Barry M Speedy | £3.99

For me Barry M have got to be one of the best nail polish brands around and i'd probably favour them over some of the higher end brands. Their Speedy collection is all about getting that perfect mani in seconds without having to wait for them to try, perfect for those who hate waiting for their nails to dry - like me! The shade Need for Speed is a vibrant pink toned purple, it really lovely for when you want a bright colour but not something super bright.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora | £2.99

Go Wild-er-ness is a pale lavender shade and one of the pastel shades from Rita Ora's collection for Rimmel. This is one of those shades though thats needs a couple of coats to get an opaque look.

Models Own Colour Chrome | £4.99

Second to Barry M, i'd say that Models Own has to be another favourite nail brand of mine and these chrome shades are something a little different. Chrome Mauve is a metallic purple shade with undertones of pink. The formula of these chrome shades is a little watery and sometimes it can go a little messy on your nails, you need to paint it evenly to get a perfect finish.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish | £2.99

Lucky lilac is a vibrant pinky purple shade and the finish is super shiny. The formula is creamy and you get an opaque finish after just one coat. I find that these polishes tend to last just under a week as long as I apply a base and top coat.

What do you all think of these purple nail picks?
