THE NUDE LIP EDIT

When it comes to lipsticks, i'm pretty obsessed and as my mum says I have a problem. But I just can't resist all the pretty shades and finishes and of course no two shades are really the same! For day-to-day lipstick wearing it's got to be a nude shade for me, I want something to enhance my natural lips and have quite a collection of nudes to choose from. Here are the ones I reach for the most.

Olivia Palermo X Ciate Satin Kiss in Truffle | £19.00 | post

This absolute bargain TK Maxx buy has been part of my makeup routine daily now for the past couple of week. This cool toned nude has a velvet finish but also keeps my lips moisturised and soft. I would say its probably not worth the £19.00 price tag it retails for on the Ciate website so if you find it in TK Maxx you should definitely buy!

Rimmel Kate Lipstick Nude #43 | £5.49 | post

Part of the Kate Moss for Rimmel nude collection launched last year #43 is a coffee toned nude with a satin finish. I've always been a big fan of the Kate lipsticks and find that they have great colour play off whilst still leaving lips moisturised.

SEVENTEEN Stay Pout Lipstick in Just a Fling | £4.49 

I originally picked out this nude-brown shade as a bit of a dupe for Velvet Teddy as I thought it looked very similar, however, when you swatch the two side by side they aren't actually similar at all. I do still love this lipstick though and it really enhances the shade of your lips.
I have quite a few Stay Pout lipsticks from Seventeen, they are super affordable and there are some really great colours in the collection.

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Bitch Perfect | £23.00

All hail my current favourite lipsticks, this Charlotte Tilbury beauty entered my life at the end of last year and the pink toned nude is perfect for every occasion. Bitch Perfect is one of those lipsticks that i'd say is my lips but better, the formula is soft and moisturising and leaves my lips soft even after I've taken it off.

Makeup Revolution Be Iconic Lipstick in Absolutely Flawless | £2.49

I'm pretty obsessed with this lipstick, partly due to the gorgeous butter scotch smell and also the soft brown toned nude. I keep this lipstick store in my handbag for those occasions when you just might need to up your makeup game.

Sleek Lipstick in Barely There | £4.99

This peachy toned nude shade is probably the more summery shade of them all. The formula of these lipstick are creamy and you only need one slick for an opaque look.

MAC Velvet Teddy | £15.50

I couldnt do a nude lip post without including one of my favourite nude lip shades from MAC. Velvet Teddy is a little darker than the other nudes, but its one of my favourites for a night out and you definitely get those Kylie Jenner lips. My only issue is the matte finish is very drying on my lips and even with a balm underneath my lips feel like sand paper after wearing it.

L'Oreal Color Riche in Eva's Nude | £6.99

This is nude shade from L'Oreal's nude collection is designed by Eva Longoria. It's a pink toned nude with a satin finish, its not as pigmented as some of the other shades but its perfect for day-to-day wear.
