HIGH END PRODUCTS WORTH THE SPLURGE

When it comes to makeup my collection is a mix between drugstore and high end. Whilst i'll always be a drugstore kind of gal and love finding great products and dupes for high end products, sometimes you really can't go wrong with spending that little bit extra. When it comes to buying high end pieces they are normally something i'll splurge on occasionally or I receive at presents.

I really do talk about this palette too much but I'm just so obsessed. This was my first Hourglass purchase and I can now truly understand what all the hype is about and I know have a list as long as my arm of products I want. The Ambient Lighting Edit includes a trio of highlighters, two blushers and a bronzer. A lot of people said they find this a little pricey compared to the size but I don't agree and think that this will last me a long time.

Estée Lauder Double Wear | £30.00

If you're looking for a foundation staying power and a full coverage finish then look no further than Double Wear. I don't think I've even met a person who didn't like this and it really is worth the investment. This isn't a typical foundation I would wear daily as I prefer something a little lighter but if I plan on being out for a while or a night out this is perfect.

NARS Illuminator Copacabana | £23.00 | post

Who doesn't love a bit of sparkle and this illuminator is just that. Having had this for around a year now it's the perfect product for giving your face that little extra glow and I even use it on my collarbone and shins on a night out for that extra glow. Copacabana is a soft pinky champagne shade with intense shimmer and it has a smooth cream consistency and blends lovely on my skin.

Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect Lipstick & Pillow Talk Lip Liner | £23.00 & £16.00

If there is one brand I was obsessed (and the rest of the population) with in 2015, it was the Charlotte Tilbury products. I spent many shopping trips staring at all her products in the pretty rose gold packaging and picking out everything that would eventually be mine. My favourite lip combination that I own has to be the Bitch Perfect lipstick (pinky nude) and Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk (soft mauve/pink). The lipstick is super moisturising and sits lovely on your lips and the lip liner is perfect for creating plump lips.

YSL Luxurious Mascara for False Lash Effect | £25.00

Now that my beloved Too Face Better Than Sex mascara is finished, this is my go to mascara for full and voluptuous lashes. A single stroke of the mascara leaves your lashes full and long and there is also the added bonus that this mascara smells amazing too! It also contain sensuous oils to keep your lashes in tip top condition and keeps the curl all day.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel | £32.00 | post

After getting this is in summer last year its been one of those products i'll neglect then use again and remind myself how good it is. I love using this to add to my contour and give extra definition to my cheeks. The mousse like products applies like velvet and blends beautifully.
