BECCA x JACLYN HILL | CHAMPAGNE POP HIGHLIGHTER

Finally this beauty is mine and I couldnt be more obsessed! I wasn't actually that interested when this was first released as I had lots of other highlighters I thought were very similar. However, after reading a couple of blog posts and seeing it featured in some YouTube videos I realised this was just any highlighter. 

The collaboration between Jaclyn Hill and Becca has been available in the US for some time now, but has just hit the UK after SpaceNK announced they would be stocking. Luckily my mum decided to treat me to this as an end of exams treat after I tweeted how much i'd love to have it. Priced at £32.00 its a more of a splurge product but its definitely worth it in my opinion.

Lets get down to the product itself then. The packing is a little different to anything i've had before and the mix between the matte black and gun metal finish, toughens up the very pretty product inside. The matte black reminds me of the NARS packaging so I do hope it doesn't mark like I find NARS does. The box it came in was also pretty impressive, with a mirrored almost copper colour and bubbles imprinted to keep inline with the champagne theme, I'm just gutted I left it home before I came back to uni so I can't show you all.

This is actually the first Becca product I have owned so i'm unsure on the texture of the other highlighters, but this one is velvety, shimmery and almost buttery in texture. You only need the tiniest amount on your brush to get the most intense shimmer across your cheek bones, I'm still learning then you need a gentle hand when using this product (I have already marked it slightly on accident)! In terms of pigmentation this is very similar to TheBalm's Mary Lou Manizer but just a little more gold in colour. 

I've been wearing this pretty much non-stop after I got it as I'm obsessed with the shimmer it leaves on my cheeks! If you're on the hunt for a new highlighter then you should definitely head over to SpaceNK and try this out!
