This month is such a stressful and tiring one for me, I have a uni assignment and two exams at the end of the month. I've also started my new healthy eating and exercise regime (post here) so I can't even destress with my pal pizza hut. I'm going to try and not abandon my blog but I'm slightly scared revision may get the better of me towards this month. Today's post is about one my new obsessions in my makeup routine - cream eyeshadows. Over the past couple of months these have come a staple in my beauty routine and have amassed quite a collection.
These were the first cream eyeshadow I tried after seeing them on countless blogs and hearing great reviews - i've also heard they are even better that some high end equivalents! These little pots have a fairly solid product and you get intense pigmentation with one swipe. These blend so easily with your fingertip and I love applying the different shades together. The collection includes both matte and shimmer finish, I own 6 different shades now and some of my favourites are Metallic Pomegranate and Creme de Nude. If your looking to try some cream eyeshadows for the first time then these are the ones to go for!
H&M Cream Eyeshadow | £4.99
When H&M released their beauty collection I did a pretty impressive haul and this is one of the products I picked up. I have the shade Earth Angel which is a pretty deep brown shade with a subtle shimmer. This product is a little more soft that the Color Tattoos so you have to be careful if applying with your finger as you can end up with too much. The product blends easy on your lids and I tend to mix it with a lighter shadow shade.
This was another of the bargains I picked up in the KIKO winter sales along with the cream blushers (post) - if you haven't checked out the sale yet you need to! These eyeshadows are a mix between a cream and a powder, it glides on like a cream and blends easily on the lids with intense colour play off. I would say that these ones are a little easier to apply with a brush rather than your finger.
Yet another great bargain from KIKO! These eyeshadows are more creamy than the other KIKO version and are of a similar consistency to the H&M version. They are creamy and blend easily with a velvety texture. They also have incredible staying power and I've put them on in the morning and they still look the same in the evening. From the sale I've picked up a few options and some of my favourites are Pearly Light Rose, Pearly Apricot and Matte Taupe.
What are some of your cream eyeshadow picks?
