Evening everybody, I hope everyone has had an amazing christmas and eaten lots (I definitely have)! This year I've received some amazing presents off my parents, family and boyfriend and I'm so grateful for it all. Me and boyfriend didn't go mad with each this year, partly due to the fact I'm not working full time any more, but one of the gifts he did get me was the Zoeva Luxury Rose Gold Brush Set. I'd been lusting over this set for months now after seeing it on blogs and instagram all the time and just had to have it.
The majority of my makeup brushes are Real Techniques and whilst they are amazing I really wanted to try something different and I'm so glad I did. They also added to my growing obsession with rose gold (like 90% of the female population as well) and they do look amazing on my dressing table. I chose the standard rose gold set as it had the perfect selection of face and eye brushes, which all come packaged in this rather handy black makeup bag.
106 Powder Brush | I've been using this one to apply my NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder and it leave my face with a gorgeous luminous finish.
102 Silk Finish Brush | I've finally found the most perfect brush to apply my foundation, it's soft and has a domed head great for ensuring all my makeup is applied evenly.
110 Face Shape Brush | This little brush is perfect adding highlight to the apples of my cheeks, brow bone, the centre of my nose and my cupid's bow.
127 Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush | I'm kind of obsessed with this brush for contouring and it helps define and shape my cheeks.
142 Concealer Buffer | I'm loving this brush for applying concealer under my eyes and helping apply it to all the hard to reach areas.
227 Soft Definer | I've been using this brush to apply shadow across the lid of my eye.
231 Petite Crease Brush | This brush is perfect for adding a darker shadow to the crease of my eye and blending it in.
317 Wing Liner Brush | Rather than using this for eyeliner i've instead been using it for my Anastasia DipBrow Pomade for a smooth application.
Since I received this set I haven't stopped using it and there is already so many other Zoeva sets I want to add to my collection.

This is my favourite set from Zoeva, though I love their second set, I find myself using this one a lot more! The Silk Finish brush is my number one for applying foundation. x
