THE PERFECT COMBINATION | LIPS & NAILS

If there is two things I love its a lipstick and nail varnish and what better way that to combine my two love than a matching lip and nail. Since we are in the festive season I decided to opt for some wintery pinks, purples and reds that are perfect to rock this season.

Estée Lauder Kendall Jenner's Shade & Rimmel Lasting Finish in Double Decker Red

During the festive season you really can't go wrong with a red lip and nail and its perfectly in line with the bearded man himself. The Estée Lauder lipstick is the perfect true red shade with orange undertones and a matte finish. To match Double Decker Red is a vibrant berry red shade, if I'm ever struggling to pick a nail colour red is my go to and you really can't go wrong with it.

MAC Evening Rendezvous (post) & OPI Hello Hawaii Ya

Evening Rendezvous is the most recent addition to my MAC collection and one of the most out there I own, its part of the Magic of the Night collection and unfortunately sold out already. MAC describe it as a deep reddish purple, in the tube i'd say it looks more purple but once applied you can see the red undertones. Hello Hawaii Ya was part of the Hawaii collection and I have the mini version from the set, its a deep creamy mauve shade. You do need a couple of coats to get a opaque coverage but once you do the colour really is gorgeous.

Bobbi Brown Ibiza Pink & OPI Kiss Me On The Tulips

I picked up this Bobbi Brown lippy at Bicester Village back in the summer and I was shocked to find that its a new shade on the Bobbi Brown website. Ibiza Pink is a vibrant fuchsia shade with blue undertones and gives you a rich slick of colour, which is smooth and moisturising. When looking for the perfect match I really couldn't have gotten it better that Kiss Me On The Tulips, its a super hot pink shade. 

MAC Rebel & Models Own HyperGel Sweet Sherry

When it comes to winter lip colours Rebel is the perfect berry red shade, it has a satin finish so isn't drying and leave a little sheen to the colour. If you're looking for something a little darker than the usual festive red then this could be for you. For a matching nail colour I picked out this deep red shade from Models Own, Sweet Sherry is a warm brown shade with red undertones. Whilst the lipstick is a little more red this nail polish looks lovely on you can see the red tones.
