ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS ILLUMINATOR | PEACH NECTAR

After seeing this on dozens of blogs and reading countless amazing reviews I just had to add it to my beauty collection. I mentioned it my mum a few weeks before my birthday and then forgot i'd even mentioned it, so I was delighted when I opened it up. I mentioned the shade I like was Peach Nectar as its really unlike any other highlighters I already own. The illuminators are all available in the UK from Cult Beauty (one of my favourite online beauty stores)!

There are four shades aimed at each different skin tone. Star light, a white gold, So Hollywood, a true gold, Peach Nectar, an apricot gold and Riviera, a rose gold. I chose not to opt for either Star light or So Hollywood, probably the two most suited to my skin as I already had quite a few highlighters in these shades. Peach Nectar is a deep bronzey gold. I have found that this shade for my is better for contouring rather than highlighting, but it adds some amazing definition to my cheeks.

The product is housed a simple circular black case with the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo on the front and a great sized mirror inside. The product has the most gorgeous geometric pattern - it will break my heart when this is worn away! The powder itself adds a lovely glow to your skin with a slight shimmer, nothing too chunky or glittery. I apply mine with my Real Techniques contour brush to hollows of my cheeks after applying a bronzer. Hopefully once I'm tanned in the summer it will become more of a highlighter.
