WINTER LIPCARE SAVIOURS

Has everyone noticed how cold it's gotten recently?! In the cold weather I always up my beauty regime as the cold seems to dry out my skin, lips and even my hair. I actually suffer quite bad with sore and chapped lips all yeah round but in the winter they get quite bad. Since I suffer with dry lips I have built up quite a collection of products to keep them soft and moisturised, and pretty much have a product in every different bag and place in my room. Here are some of my current favourites...

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic | I got this in the Charlotte Tilbury Book of Makeup Magic (post here) I had for my birthday. Lip Magic is designed to rejuvenate and smooth lips and contains a magic ingredient to create a powerful moisture-sealing, protective barrier and long term healing benefit. The list of beneficial products in this balm really is endless, including Argan Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax and Vitamin. The balm has a floral scent to it so its not only works like magic but also smells gorgeous. The balm in itself is quite heavy and takes a while to sink in so I tend to apply before I go to bed and let the magic work overnight.

EOS Mint Lip Balm | If you know me personally you'll know how obsessed I am with these and pretty much own every flavour, I stocked up in New York as they were so cheap (post here). Mint was the first flavour I bought in England and I had used it in a couple of months so it was a definite repurchase in NY as its my favourite flavour. EOS balms are packed with anti-oxidant rich Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba oil to keep your lips soft and moisturised. I love the mint flavour as its so refreshing and smells gorgeous.

Maybelline Baby Lip Dr Rescue Too Cool | Baby lips is another balm I have tried all the flavours of (this most has made me realise I should probably stop buying lip products). The Dr Rescue versions are designed to help bring lips back to life and also add a hint of colour. I'm currently using the Too Cool version which is clear but I have just finished the Just Peachy one, which added a lovely peach sheen to lips. The balms have medicated care and gives you 12hr moisture, it also contain eucalyptus and icy menthol to smooth and cool lips.

LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub | Such a running theme here of mint flavoured lip products but they just smell amazing. I've been an avid user of the LUSH lip scrub for a while now, having has the bubblegum version previously and now the mint one. Lip scrubs for me are just as important as balms because if I do get sore lips it helps remove any dry and dead skin. The scrub contains sugar crystals flavoured with mint and sweet vanilla and leaves your lips primed for a smooth lipstick application. To keep my lips smooth i'll use the morning and night everyday!

What are you winter lip care saviours?!
