THE BALM | NUDE DUDE EYESHADOW PALETTE

For me the Balm is one of those brands I tend to forget about and then i'll buy a product from them I remember just how good they are! With their adorable packaging, cute names and affordable prices what's not to love?! I spotted this eyeshadow palette on Amazon recently and it was a little cheaper than the shops so I took the plunge and bought it. In the winter months I tend to use a lot of golds, nudes and browns so I knew i'd get a lot of use out of it.

Nude Dude is the second volume to the nude eyeshadow palette series. It features 12 shades; 4 matte and 8 shimmery shades. Each of the shades can be applied on their own, layered for a more intense look or mixed with water and applied like an eyeliner. The shades apply smoothly and have long lasting, intense pigmentation, perfect to carry you from day to night.

The packaging is rather adorable with 6 'dudes' inside and two eyeshadows covering each ones modesty. The palette goes from light to dark and all shades cleverly begin with an 'F'...

Fearless - matte ivory shade

Fabulous - soft vanilla shade with a slight shimmer

Flawless - neutral cool brown shade

Faithful - shimmery golden yellow shade

Firm - shimmery bronze shade

Fit - gold shimmery shade

Flirty - glistening mauve pink shade

Feisty - matte warm brown shade

Friendly - matte blackened brown

Funny - shimmery chocolate brown

Fierce - shimmery pitch black shade

Fine - dark brown shade with a slight shimmer

In the palette you also get a mini brush eyeliner brush, great for applying that perfect feline flick. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't use this brush as it feels a little plastic and not as soft as I would like. There is also a great size mirror in the palette if you feel the need to carry this about with you.
