MY 3 CURRENT FAVOURITE PERFUMES

Evening Girls! So its actually my birthday today but I scheduled this post to go up a couple of days ago as I knew i'd be celebrating over the weekend and now I'm out with my uni friends tonight as a final celebration. I'll be turning the big 22 (feels so grown up) and as my boyfriend keeps reminding me I'm over half way to 40! I will have spent the weekend celebrating at home with my family and boyfriend with lots of shopping and meals out!

I'm pretty obsessed with perfume and spray myself with way too much everyday. I have a pretty large collection currently after receiving a lot of 100ml bottle last christmas and some presents over the year so I have a few different ones to choose form. I love heading to Boots or The Perfume Shop to try out scents and pick out some new fragrances to add to my wish lists. One thing i've been told about finding the perfect scent for you is that if you can smell it on yourself after while then it doesn't suit you, so if I'm trying out scents i'll spray myself and walk around the store and I can still smell it after a while it just doesn't suit me. I tend to go for quite fresh soft scents rather harsh ones as I find they can smell quite manly. Here my 3 current favourites...

Roberto Cavalli - Paradiso | This is relatively new fragrance to my collection but i've been loving it. Its an uplifting and stimulating fragrance which radiates happiness. It has the perfect combination of notes to ooze sensuality and seduction; fresh, fruity top notes (Bergamot, Mandarin and Neroli), sweet floral heart notes (Jasmine) and musky base notes (Laurel, Pine, Wood and Musk). This fragrance is definitely something to take you to paradise and to seize the moment.

Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy Gold | I am really obsess with all Juicy fragrances and haven't found one I don't like, I also love the cute bottles and save them all at little keepsakes. I was given the Viva La Juicy Gold as a gift last Christmas after lusting over it for a while. This scent is probably the richest smelling and definitely a winter scent rather than summer, its contains sweet top notes (wild berries), rich smelling heart notes (Honeysuckle and Gold Amber) and smooths base notes (Vanilla and Caramel).

Paco Rabonee - Olympēa | I discovered the scent when I attended the #BloggersFestival back in September when The Perfume Shop gave out mini samples and was instantly sold. So when my parents when on holiday a few weeks ago they picked me up the 80ml version in duty free. Olympēa is an oriental fragrance leaving you with a sexy and divine scent. It contains fragrant top notes (Green Mandarin, Ginger Lily and Hydroponic Jasmine), sensual heart notes (salted vanilla) and aromatic, woody base notes (Sandalwood and Ambergris).

What are some of your favourite scents?

  1. I love the Juicy Couture one too! I've personally been obsessed with Chloé lately.
