Recently i've been thinking of some different types of posts for my blog and today I want to bring you my in shower essentials. Like most of the population a shower is part of my daily routine and needed to wake me up on these cold mornings. When showing I like to have a selection of products to choose from to shake up my routine and keep me smelling lovely. When it comes to shower products I tend to opt for cheaper drugstore/high street options as I go through a lot of products.
Shampoo & Conditioner | Unlike a lot of people I don't generally have a preference for specific products or brands. I've been using TRESemmé whilst at uni as the big bottles last me a lifetime, even with my thick hair. Although I don't have a specific preference for a particular product I always pick out products that will help keep my hair healthy and maintained - a must when you have you hair dyed and straightened a lot. Currently for my shampoo I'm using the Vibrant Naturals Shampoo, it is designed to nourish and replenish your hair with organic aloe vera and avocado extracts and helps protect against damage. For my condition I'm using the Thermal Recovery Conditioner to help revive my dry, damaged hair from years of straightening and drying. This one contains aloe vera and almond extract to restore essential nutrients.
Shower Wash | When picking a product to wash myself with I always look for something with a great smell and moisturising properties. I got this Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter in a gift set last christmas and its probably one of the last products from the set left. I'm actually a little disappointed with myself that I didn't use it early as I'm obsessed! It included 25% of moisture oils including sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, macadamia nut oil and cocoa & shea butters. I'm absolutely obsessed with the smell of it and can continue to smell it throughout the day. Onto the second and i'm a little late to the party on this one, I was in Lush the other day and after hearing some rave reviews about Snow Fairy I just had to try. The smell is actually amazing and I feel like I'm jumping in a vat of candy floss sweetness. Whilst this one doesn't actually include any moisturising properties, I adore the smell and I will be stocking up over christmas!
Hair treatments | Whilst in the shower I occasionally like to treat myself to a special treatment for my hair. I picked up these Natural World hair oils at the #BloggersFestival back in September and they are the perfect little products to keep in the shower. I have the Coconut Water, Argan Oil of Morocco and Brazilian Keratin in my shower to mix up the types of treatment. Coconut water helps nourish, moisturise and restore shine to hair, Argan Oil helps repair and restore softness to hair and Brazilian Keratin treats the most damaged areas of the hair's surface. It's advised to apply these oils to damp hair, so I will apply a small amount from the ends to the roots of my hair as I'm finishing in the shower. Sometimes I also apply before conditioning and will apply a larger amount and leave on for long so the heat of the shower to help work its magic.
Skincare | Whilst most of skincare routine takes place out of the shower I like to keep a product in there if I haven't had time to properly cleanse or exfoliate. In my shower I keep with me the Bee Good Cream Cleanser (another product from the #BloggersFestival). It contains honey and propolis to help clear out makeup and grime without drying out your skin. The smell of this actually divine and keeps my skin clear and smooth.
What are your in shower essentials?

I'm literally OBSESSED with Whipped Clean. I absolutely adore it. That and the Nuxe Prodigiuse Shower Oil are my two favourite shower products!

Loving Tresemme at the moment. I use the colour care one! I'm a quick shower girl so I just buy cheapy shower gel but I pamper myself if I'm going out! X
