Welcome to my makeup family the holy grail of highlighting palettes! This product has been on my radar since summer when I saw a picture released online and i've been impatiently waiting for its UK release. This is first Hourglass product I have bought, I nearly bought the Ambient Lighting Palette in New York but was slighting put off by the size (I did instantly regret not buying it once I was home).
The palette includes a selection of 5 powder highlighters, blushers and bronzers and a brand new limited edition strobing shade. Iridescent strobe light (new shade) is a soft pinky pearl shade which adds a refined glow to your complexion. Dim light is a neutral peach shade that highlights your complexion. Diffused light is a soft pale yellow highlight that helps brighten and give skin clarity. Now on to the gorgeous marbled blush and bronzers, Luminous flush is a champagne rose shade with light to help enhance a candlelit glimmer. Mood exposure is a soft pinky blush to bright and flush the complexion. Luminous bronze light is a medium tan shade fused with luminous light to add a warm glow to your complexion.
A lot of people have hated on this palette for the size and when I first received it I was a little shocked at how small it is, however, you only need a dab of the powder on a brush to add a gorgeous glow and so I know this will last me a while despite the size. The palette is priced at £65 so a little on the pricey side, but its an invest piece, however the Ambient Lighting Palette is only three shades and is £56.
Overall, im a totally obsessed with this palette and has a variety of shades to create a different look each day. Since it arrived it has featured every makeup look and will continue to do so.
What are your thoughts on this palette?

I really want to try this palette! I too have heard many complaints on the size, but as someone who has never tried any of the Hourglass powders before, this seems like the perfect place to start!
