So my birthday is two weeks away today and i'm probably more excited that I should be as i'll be turning 22 (cue Taylor Swift Lyrics), as birthdays aren't really exciting anymore and I should probably be acting grown up! I'm planning to go home for the weekend and spend time with my family and boyfriend before heading back to uni on my birthday as I have a full day of lectures (unlucky)! I was lucky enough to have my main birthday present 3 months early, my parents bought me the Olympus Pen (review here) for my trip Thailand, so i'm not expecting a lot but these are just a few things I would love to get!
NARS Steven Klein Cheek Palette - Despair | To be honest with you all I don't yet currently own any NARS blushers and i'm appalled at this as they always get great reviews and have such a great selection of colours. I noticed this little beauty when I browsing Feel Unique the other day and it caught my eye straight away. The palette contains 4 blushes; Nico, Esoteric, Savage and Ferocious and one of the famous mini kabuki brushes. Priced at £45 for 4 blushes I think its great value as an individual NARS blush is £23.00. This is an limited edition palette so hopefully it will be added to my collection soon before it sells out.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation | Who doesn't love the sound of something that can magically transform your skin?! This miracle in a bottle transforms skin for all ages, skin types and tones. It has a lightweight formula, which glides on seamlessly concealing all imperfections like a second skin. I've read a lot of reviews about this and it has all been positive, pretty much confirming I need this in my life!
Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne | I've been lusting over this scent for a while now. I was testing the Jo Malone scents a couple of months ago and this one I just fell in love with. Its a fresh scent with notes of lush persimmon, lily of the valley and eglantine.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer | I recently lost my Hourglass virginity and bought myself the Ambient Lighting Edit after lusting over since I saw the picture of it in the summer. I can now see why everyone is so obsessed with this brand as the palette has 6 of the most gorgeous shades in and now I'm hoping to add this primer to my collection. I've heard this is the primer of all primers and created an irresistibly smooth base for you foundation and minimises pore and lines. I find that if i don't apply primer my foundation doesn't last as long so its a must for me in my routine and I need to try this version out.
Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser | I recently blogged about my new Vitamin C moisturiser from The Body Shop (review here) after hearing it was a great dupe for the Origins moisturiser. As much as I'm loving The Body Shop version I'm still keen to try out the Origins GinZing as i've heard its a much deeper moisturiser. GinZing instantly hydrates and revs up the brightness of tired looking skin and contains skin boosters Panax Ginseng and Coffee Beans.
Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette | I'm already an owner and lover of the other 3 Naked palettes and the formula and pigmentation of all the shadows is amazing and long-lasting. When the Naked Smoky was released I couldn't wait to get my hands on it as I love a smoky eye for a night out! This is also the perfect palette for the upcoming christmas and NYE party season and I can't wait to create some gorgeous eye looks. Can I also just mention the amazing smoky, marble look packaging!

ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I'm turning 29 and still get hopelessly excited about my birthday 😊
Your wish list is very similar to mine - although I did treat myself to the Naked Smokey this week. Happy Birthday to me, from me!

The Charlotte Tilbury foundation was so disappointing for me, if you have oily skin I'd recommend avoiding it as it came off my face after a couple of hours and left me so greasy!
