When it comes to skincare I don't focus on it as much as I should, but recently I am trying out a lot more skincare products. My night time skin care routine is a little more in-depth that the morning, this is mainly because I'm not rushing in the evening. Also I find you can use more products in the evening as my face can breath whilst I'm asleep and makeup free. So here is the steps on my night time skin care routine...
REMOVING MY MAKEUP | For years when removing my makeup i've only been able to use Johnson's Face Care Makeup Be Gone Refreshing Wipes, these are the only wipes that don't irritate my face or cause a rash. Once i've removed the majority of my makeup with a wipe i'll following with my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water with a cotton pad to remove any residual makeup and dirt from the day. Like every other blogger I love this cleanser as its leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. I've tried out a few other Micellar Cleansers and this has been my favourite so far.
FACIAL SCRUB/WASH | In the evenings i'll either have a bath or a shower and i'll combine this with a facial scrub/wash I can remove whilst I'm in there. My pick at the moment is this Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator, I got this free in my goodie bag from the #BloggersFestival and it was such a great pick. My favourite part of this has to be the smell, it contains mandarin, apricot and carrot and contains particles to help remove any dead skin cells. I'll alternate this scrub with my Exuviance Microdermabrasion Face Polish (review here), which I use twice a week.
MOISTURISING | At the moment i've been loving my Balance Hyaluronic Moisturiser which I also got given to me at the #BloggersFestival. It contains active levels of Algisium which help skin look more radiant evens out skin tone. If my skin is feeling a little dry i'll opt for my Nip+Fab Deep Cleansing Fix for an overnight treatment. You can use this treatment as a 10 minute mask or overnight for a more hydrating treatment.
TREATMENTS | When it comes to my skin care I have a few little treatments i'll add in every so often to help keep my skin bright and hydrated. One of my favourites is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair (i've reviewed it previously here), it applies like skin and helps keep my skin looking plump and refreshed and my complexion is much clearer. If i've had a long day or my eyes are feeling tired i'll apply my Benefit Puff Off to awaken my eyes and reduce the puffiness.
