H&M | FACE MASKS

I recently blogged about my haul from the new H&M beauty collection (available here) along with the products in the haul, I picked up some of the new face masks they bought out. Face masks have become a big part of my beauty routine recently and I find that they make my skin feel clean and smooth. These are priced at £1.99 so slightly expensive considering you only get one use out of it but if your looking to test out face masks then its worth it compared to buying a full bottle. In the store I was in there was a large selection to choose from and I could have probably bought them all but I restrained myself and picked up 3 from the collection.

Charcoal & Pumice | This is probably the most scary sounding and looking of all three but it has great benefits for tired looking skin. Charcoal is great for the skin as it absorbs all of the dirt and bacteria and leaves your skin clear but also moisturised. Pumice is usually something I would associate with feet (pumice stone!) but the volcanic pumice they use in this mask leaves your skin smoother & brighter. The mask is quite thick and you would have to apply a very thick layer to use the whole tub. I used this mask a couple of days ago and it brightened my skin up and left it feeling clear and fresh.

Kiwi & Watermelon | I have used this one yet but I'm hoping it smells amazing fresh and fruity. This mask is self-warming, so once its applied to damp skin it will warm your skin up to open your pores and remove any dirt there. Along with the Kiwi and Watermelon is contains pear juice to leave your skin sweetly scented.

Dead Sea Mud | This mask contains dead sea mud and seaweed extracts to help balance the skin. It also contains small particles to help exfoliate your skin and remove any dead skin or dirt. My housemate had this as well and has already used hers, the consistency is very similar to the Charcoal & Pumice mask and is very thick, this one is white in colour (I was expecting it to be red from the packaging).

The packaging of these mask is simple and effecting, the white card holding the pot of mask is simple with the name and a short description with the ingredients. The pots of mask very much remind me of the pots you get of butter in a hotel. The only downside for me is that I wouldn't use all of the product on my face but you wouldn't be able to save it for another time as it would dry out.

Overall, I've been really impressed with the Charcoal mask and can't wait to try out the other two!

Have any of you tried these masks?
