H&M BEAUTY HAUL

Unless you've been hibernating or living under a rock you will be well aware that H&M have recently relaunched their beauty line and its something pretty special! H&M have had their own range of beauty for a good few years, from what I can't remember, but its never really been anything to shout about, now with this relaunch its definitely something to talk about. After reading many reviews from bloggers all over the country, gasping at the beauty of this range I went on the hunt to get my hands on some of the products.

Their collection includes pretty much every product you could think of, including powder/cream blushers, lipsticks, nail polishes, cream eyeshadows and so much more. And even better, its all packaging in the gorgeous white, black and gold - a bloggers dream! After finding the full range in the Southampton store at the student lock in, I filled my basket and even got 20% off! Here is a run down of my picks...

Powder Blush - £6.99 | I have to admit with this product I was slightly drawn to the hexagonal packaging more that the product - bad beauty blogger! But now after using them for a couple of days, I'm impressed. I picked up the shades Coral and Golden Peach, I would day that the Coral is a true pinky coral shade but the the Golden Peach it's slight more rosy pink with hints of peach. Now that I've been using these I'm eager to try out the cream blushers as I've heard great reviews.

Eyeshadow - £4.99 | I'm not normally a fan of buying individual eyeshadows as I think you can get some great shades in a palette for a lot cheaper, however, H&M's range was to die for. I selected two of the darker shades to get myself ready for winter, Woodwork is cool brown shade and i'd say its a mix between matte and shimmer, Demitasse is a warm chocolate brown shade with a glitter effect.

Cream Eyeshadow - £4.99 | I've recently become a fan of cream eyeshadows and its definitely my go to eye look, I'm a fan of the Maybelline Color Tattoos (review here) so I wanted to try the H&M version to compare. I picked up the shade Earth Angel, which is as its named an earth brown shade with a shimmer to it. I have found with the H&M version is a little more creamy but that helps with blending.

Eyeshadow Pencil - £3.99 | My friend actually spotted these in the store and we both just had to have it. The pencils have a creamy texture and apply so smoothly and blends so evenly across your lids. We both got the shade Golden Age which is the more gorgeous shimmery bronze gold.

Nail Polish - £3.99 | I told myself recently I definitely didn't need any new nail polishes, but I just couldn't resist these shades which are perfect for autumn. I picked up the shade Mauve It, its a lovely warm mauve and the shade Bitter Chocolate, I picked this one out as i'm a big fan of black nails but sometimes find them too harsh and thought this would be a great alternative. These polishes apply so evenly and were opaque in just a few coats.

What are your thoughts on the H&M beauty range?

  1. I really love the products they've brought out! The only gripe I have is with the formula of some of the eyeshadows but overall for the price I think it's an awesome range. The blusher, lip liner and lipstick were my favourites! x
