REVLON | PARFUMERIE SCENTED NAIL POLISH

On a recent trip to Boots i'd promised myself I wouldn't be buying any beauty products as there was nothing I really needed or wanted from there. I actually made it round almost all of the shop before stumbling on the Revlon nail stand near the till. I have a couple of Revlon Nail polishes already and the quality and wear of them is great and long-lasting.

I've been lusting over the Parfumerie collection from them for a while as the cute little perfume shapes bottles look so cute. Most of the Boots stores i've been into either had none of the collection or a very picked over small collection, so when the store I was in had a few different shades I couldn't resist picking some out. They were also 2 for £8, so a bargain really compared to the usual £6.49 price tag. Although we are now heading into the winter months I picked two of the most summer shades you could find.

African Tea Rose | When I was looking at this shade and thinking of the polishes I already had I don't think I had a pink in this shade so definitely had to pick this one out. It's a vibrant fushcia shade with blue undertones. As for the scent, at the moment I currently have a cold so can't smell much but friends have said there is a certain scent coming from my nails. I also noticed on the Boots website that this one was discontinued August 2014 so I think they maybe be getting rid of old stock.

Apricot Nectar | Running with the summer theme I also picked up this pastel peach shade - when I buy nail varnish I always seem to buy in pairs that go together! This shade is a pastel peach/orange shade. As for the scent I haven't worn this one yet but with my cold I doubt I would be able to smell it anyway. As far as I'm aware this hasn't been discontinued like the pink shade.

Have any of you got these shades? Or others from the collection?

  1. The bottles and shades of these polishes are so nice! I'm not sure how I feel about scented polishes though.

  2. I remember scented bandaids so why not nail polish- I am very intrigued by the smell actually because nail polish already has such a distinctive smell you know. But the packaging and the gorgeous shades- yes please!
