So i've finally taken the plunge and placed my first order with KIKO Cosmetics. KIKO is a brand i've been aware of for a while but just never got round to placing an order or popping into one of the stores - now i've realised I was missing out big time. One of the main reasons I have finally lost my KIKO virginity is when Sarah Ashcroft from That Pommie Girl mentioned on her snapchat that KIKO is made in the same place as MAC and is of the same quality but a fraction of the price.
KIKO Milano is an Italian brand, as you can probably tell, and they actually ship all of their items from Italy - I was tracking my parcel travelling all the way from Italy, so their delivery was about a week. If you're wanting you items a little sooner than a week, then there are quite a few stores in the UK and I'll definitely be visiting one soon.
I've been browsing the website for a couple of weeks now deciding on the items I wanted to try first, all of their items are reasonably priced and everything I picked out came to less that £60! Here is what I picked out...
Glowing Potion Perfecting Serum
This was from their Rebel Romantic Collection which I picked a few items out from - I just couldn't resist the rose gold packaging. The serum has a hyaluronic acid which provides a silky veil helping brighten, moisturise and smooth the face. I'm a sucker for anything that helps brighten my skin and hoping this is as good as it sounds.
Night Balm
With the cold weather coming back keeping my lip moisturised is a must. I tend to suffer with dry and chapped lips throughout the year so i'm always looking to try out products to help keep them moisturised. I was checking out the best selling items on the KIKO website and this was on there so just had to try it out. You apply this over night and it works to help rebalance the level of hydration and promote cell turnover for restructured lips. I've been wearing this for a few days now and have found my lips to be feeling more moisturised and plump.
Rebel Romantic Intensely Lavish Lipstick
When I was browsing the KIKO website the Rebel Romantic Collection caught my attention with their gorgeous rose gold packaging and i've been keen to pick out some KIKO lipsticks for a while. I opted for the shades Lusty Peony and Luscious Red - Lusty Peony is a pinky nude shade and Luscious Red is a deep vibrant red. I think these two will be staple shades for autumn/winter.
Rebel Romantic Perfecting Bronzer
When I first saw this all I could think of how similar it was to the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Cheek Blusher. In the KIKO version you get a bronzer around the edge with a perfecting powder. I opted for the light to medium option with the chocolate bronze shade and a pink perfecting powder. The combination of the two leaves you with a soft bronzed glow.
One thing I've heard a lot of other bloggers mention about KIKO is how amazing their lip pencils are and how similar they are to MAC. I pick out two of the Smart Lip Pencils in Rouge Noir (710) and Periwinkle Violet (715), I picked out 710 as it looked like the perfect shade to match MAC Rebel and 715 as I don't have a purple lip liner yet. I also picked out Precision Lip Pencil in Natural Pink (302), i've found this to be the perfect nude shade to match Velvet Teddy. With my order I also got a free Colour Definition Eyeliner and Kajal in the shade Cuddly Marsala, this is dark brown shade. I prefer wearing brown eyeliner in the daytime as I don't find it as harsh as black eyeliner can be so its the perfect daytime eye pencil.
Now that i've got some products from KIKO I can see what everyone loves about them and will definitely be ordering more in the future.
What are some of your favourite KIKO products?

I didn't know it was made in the same place as Mac, that explains the high quality haha! I love Kiko, it's so affordable :)
