CURRENT FAVOURITE BEAUTY BRANDS

Being a self confessed beauty addict and hoarder I find myself getting attached to certain brands and buying everything from their collection. In my beauty collection you'll find a mixture of high end and drug store. Since I discovered my love for makeup, my taste and what I look for in a product has evolved and with that the brands I choose to buy products from. Here are some of the current brands I'm loving.

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Since finally getting my hands on the powder contour kit last year my love for this brand has been ever lasting. My first purchase was the powder contour kit and the dip brow pomade and I could finally see what everyone was raving about. The contour kit had every perfect shade for helping perfectly sculpt your face and the dip brow pomade left my eyebrows in perfect shade and beautifully defined. When I was in New York back in June the cream contour kit had just been released and so I went on the hunt for it, now i'm completely converted to contouring with cream based products rather than powder. I'm now desperate to try out the liquid lipstick in the vast array of colours and the brand new highlighters!

SEVENTEEN | Back when I was in high school and first discovering my love of makeup with only pocket money to spend, SEVENTEEN was my brand of choice, as I grew up and more into makeup I kind of forgot about the brand. I then rediscovered them last year after an edgy makeover and a fresher selection of products they are now a favourite of mine again. I've previously blogged about my love of their Stay Pout lipsticks here, and now my collection of their products has grown. Recently i'm especially loving their Define & Conquer contour kit and it was the staple product whilst I was on holiday. 

Smashbox | My love for this brand started when I had the Photo Finish Primer given to me as a gift and discovered how magical it was at providing a base for my foundation. The primer provides the silkiest, lightweight base for my foundation and lets my foundation glide on leaving a velvety finish. i've recently been loving the Smashbox blushers and have the most gorgeous vibrant pink shade, perfect for the flushed cheek look for Autumn.

NARS | I'm probably very late to the party on this one as I've only really started using NARS products in the past year - mostly due to the fact of the price tag and my poor student status. Now that i've been earning i've picked out a few bits from the brand and found a massive love for it, the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation is my ultimate foundation and i'm obsessed. I have found with NARS that their products are of such a high quality and perfect for each use. I now have a list as long as my arm as their products including the Light Reflecting Powder and the Lip Pencils.

Soap & Glory | Whenever i'm heading into Boots i'm always checking their collection out and seem to always make a purchase. I've had a massive love for Soap & Glory for years and their bath and body products are incredible and leave my skin in amazing condition and smelling perfect. Their makeup range has really shone out for me and its amazing quality at reasonable prices. Some of my favourite products at the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick and the Glow All Out highlighter.

Benefit | I've been loving Benefit for years now and if you've ever tried their products you'll know why. My first purchase was the They're Real mascara and its one of those mascara's I will always keep going back to. The reason I love Benefit is the playfulness behind the brand and the high quality of the products. Over the years i've tried many of their products and there isn't one that i've massively disliked. Benefit's range of makeup and skincare has best sellers all over the world and their adorable packaging and approach to beauty is something that just keeps drawing me back.
