MAYBELLINE | COLOR TATTOO 24HR

This is a beauty product I've seen making the rounds a lot recently in the blogging world and i've been meaning to try them out for ages. I quite often see Gabriella from Velvet Ghost applying a pink shade in her youtube videos and it looks amazing - so this is part inspiration for my purchase.

I love experimenting with eyeshadows and have numerous palettes to play around with but I've never tried out cream eyeshadows before. I decided on the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadows as I heard that these work like magic and stay on for hours! Great for me as one of my biggest hates in life is when my eyeshadows looks perfect when I leave the house and within a few hours it's all blended into a mess!

These pots seem to be very similar to the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows and MAC Paint Pots but at a fraction of the price. These are priced at £4.99 and I got them on offer in Superdrug at buy one get one half price so effectively they were only £3.75 each!

I picked out two of the more subtle shades from the collection as I wanted to try them out before stepping out there with some of the brighter colours. Pink Gold is a gorgeous metallic rose pink shade, i'm hoping this is the shade I've seen Gabriella from Velvet Ghost using in her videos as it gives such a lovely rosy pink shade. On and On Bronze was the other shade I picked out, its a rich golden bronze shade which will work perfectly for a smokey eye look.

What do you all think of these cream eyeshadows?

  1. I love the Maybelline Color Tattoos!! I have one of the bronze shades also, but it isn't called "On and on Bronze", it's called "Bad to the Bronze"! (Unless they changed the name and I wasn't aware, haha) One of my other favorites is 'Tough as Taupe' - a light greyish color which is perfect for a smokey eye! I really love that Pink Gold shade... this post made me want to stop by the drugstore to check out if they added more colors. I might just need to stock up on a few! :)
