NYC BEAUTY WISHLIST

Evening Everybody! How were all of your bank holiday weekends?! I can't believe its over already, Ive been busy all weekend with family meals and BBQs but managed to squeeze in writing this blog post!

I can't actually believe that this time in less than two weeks i'll be in New York, I'm so excited to go back there as it's been a few years since I was last there. I also can't wait to be there in the summer time as the last time I went was January and they had just has 6 feet of snow, so thankfully I won't have to wear 20 layers to go outside.

Before I head out to New York I've decided to put together a wish list of all the products I definitely want to buy when I'm out there. So here is it...

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette ($49.00) - all over the blogging world I'm always reading reviews about how amazing this palette is. The palette has an assortment of 16 matte and shimmer eyeshadows, ranging from rich browns, subtle nudes and some vibrant purples (very Cadburys chocolate!!). Priced at $49.00 in the US, with the exchange rate I think it works out to be just under £32.00 so only a little cheaper than buying it in the UK.

Anastasia Beverly Hill Cream Contour Kit ($40.00) - I already have the powder version of this and its one of my favourite beauty products to use, so when I heard they were bringing out a cream version it has been top of my list to buy. It recently launched in the UK by Cult Beauty and I have been trying to resist buying it ever since, especially since its priced at £39.00 on there and it's only $40.00 in the US - so a great saving!!

Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation ($43.00) - This is a brand I have only recently heard of, but I'm really intrigued about trying some of the products as it seems to be raved about in the beauty world. It has recently launched at Debenhams in the UK, which is great news if I do fall in love with their products as it didn't used to be readily available in the UK. This foundation is the product I have read about the most from Make Up For Ever. It is described as a oil-free medium to full coverage foundation that covers skin imperfections whilst remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. This combination sounds amazing and I will definitely be purchasing whilst I'm in New York.

MAC Lip Liners & Lipsticks in Velvet Teddy and Violetta (Both $16.00) - Although I know that MAC is available everywhere in the UK, the dollar exchange rate means that it will be a lot cheaper in the US so I'm sure a massive haul will happen whilst I'm over there. I don't actually own any of the MAC Lip Liners yet, when I'm in New York I'm keen to buy Whirl (a dirty rose shade), Soar (a pinkish brown), Heroine (a bright purple/pink) and Fruit Cocktail (a light peachy coral). Whilst I'm in New York I'm also hoping to see if they have Velvet Teddy in stock, since it is out of stock everywhere else I've looked! Violetta is also on my wish list, its a gorgeous vibrant violet purple shade which will look great with the lip liner Heroine. With the exchange rate MAC Lipsticks will be around £10 in the US I'm sure i'll be purchasing quite a few shades.

Too Faced Melted Lipsticks ($21.00) - This is another product I have seen making the rounds in the blogging world! These lipsticks offer you the intense staying power of a stain, the vibrant colour of a liquid lipstick and the high-shine of a gloss all in one formula. The colour selection Too Faced are offering is also too die for, ranging from corals and pinks to reds and purples. The shades I'm keen to pick up are Chihuahua, a subtle dusty mauve shade, and Jelly Donut, a vibrant dragon fruit pink shade.

EOS Lip Balms (around $3.00) - I've recently finished my Sweet Mint one of these and it was my favourite lip balm, the flavouring of it was amazing and it kept my lips moisturised for hours. After having a quick look online most of these I've seen being sold in the US are priced around £3.00 and considering places like Topshop and Selfridges are selling these for £6/£7, i'll be buying all the flavours I can find in the US.

Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($44.00) - Tarte is another brand I haven't tried any of their products yet, the main reason being it isn't readily available to purchase easily in the UK apart from QVC who stock quite a small range. When I've been browsing on Sephora lately this palette has kept catching my eye. This palette has 12 matte exclusive eyeshadows which Tarte has described to inspire, celebrate and empower real women - what a great description! This palette also contains a step-by-step look guide, which is a great added bonus!

Do you any of you already have these products? If so what are they like?

I hope you enjoyed reading my NYC wishlist and hopefully you'll come back and read some more of my posts!

Love,
