MY NEW MAC LIPSTICKS

So trying to not spend money really isn't going that well, Ive just had a Miss Guided delivery and then I ended up buying these two!! My bank account may be suffering a little at the moment but what girl can resist a MAC lipstick. I had only popped into MAC whilst I was staying in London for work to see if they had Velvet Teddy in stock - they didn't unfortunately much like every MAC store in the UK. Instead I picked up Twig, a shade I have heard a few people say is similar to Velvet Teddy and the super bright summer shade called Flamingo.

Kylie Jenner lips are all the rage right now and I've been looking for a warm brownish nude shade for a while now, so I was immediately drawn to the shade Twig. Its a satin finish lipstick which applies quite thickly with a slight shine to the finish. With this you only need to apply one or two layers and you have immediate coverage. I'm really excited to wear this lip shade with minimal make up so they lips really stand out.

The second shade I picked up was this neon coral shade in Flamingo, as soon as I saw this one I had to buy it. It is a lustre finish so it isn't as pigmented as other lipsticks from MAC, but its perfect for added a slick of colour to your lips with a shine. Lustering is another lustre lipstick I have which is one of my all time favourite, I love how it adds colour to your lips but is a little more subtle than some of the other MAC finishes. Flamingo is a super bright coral shade which is perfect for the warmer weather and adding a little colour to your look. I also find the lustre finish to be really moisturising, which is great for me as I suffer a little with dry lips.

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my new MAC lippies!

Love

Samantha
