Happy Easter everyone! I hope you're all over indulging in easter eggs today like I will be!
I'm sure like most of you I'd love to have a make up collection full of high end products but my I'm pretty sure my bank balance wouldn't agree with me, so I thought I'd show you some of the products on my high end wish list:
1. Tom Ford Lip Colour in Flamingo and Indian Rose - £37.00 (Available here)
Tom Ford lipsticks are some of the dreamiest out there and they look almost too good to use (I would probably be scared to use it for the price of them). The formula includes rare exotic ingredients such as soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil which all combine to create the creamiest texture with an incredibly smooth application. The first shade I picked out was Flamingo, its a vivid pink shade that is the perfect shade for spring and summer. I love experimenting with bright lipsticks in the summer when I have glowing skin, and this would be the perfect shade to wear. Indian Rose is my second pick, darker nude shades are my favourite and this one is perfect. It's a nude shade yet has a rose hint to it as well, its warm tone will look great in the summer with a tan but also won't wash you out in the winter. I've heard such great reviews about Tom Ford lipsticks and can't wait to try them out!
2. Nars All Day Luminious Weightless Foundation - £32.00 (Available here)
I've recently started using the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation and I'm a little obsessed, however this new release from Nars has caught my eye. It promises full, natural-looking coverage but to be unexpectedly weightless at the same time. When picking a foundation I always opt for light to medium coverage as I don't like make up to feel cakey on my face, but also want something that is long lasting as I don't like to reapply make up too much throughout the day - this is why I'm keen on trying this one out!
3. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze - £32.50 (Available here)
This has been on my wish list for a while now! Shimmer bricks are one of my favourite products as you get several different shades all in one product that can be used separately or blended together! I have the SEVENTEEN Instant Glow Shimmer Brick from Boots which I think is a great dupe for the Bobbi Brown one, it also means you can see if you'd use the product before taking the plunge and spending £32.50!
4. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow - £49.00 (Available here)
Charlotte Tilbury is on of the hottest high end beauty brands at the moment and I've been wanting to try out her products for a while! This product promises to slim, sculpt, shorten, trim and highlight all of your features to give you that red carpet worthy look! This product will be great for adding a subtle glowing and contouring in the summer months!
5. Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel - £32.00 (Available here)
I have been lusting over this Chanel bronzer for a while now but have still yet to purchase it! Now that summer is nearing I'm looking for different ways to achieve my dream bronzed look and can't wait to try out this cream bronzer. This product is great as you can use it on its own for a subtle look, or it can be worn over or under makeup! I have never used a cream bronzer before as I'm sceptical about how well they blend compared to powder and I don't like my makeup to look to heavy, however I read many reviews that say this bronzer blends really well and literally melts into your skin as if it should be there!
6.Illamasqua Hydra Veil - £30.00 (Available here)
I have heard so many positive reviews about this ultimate primer for dry skin! I suffer a little with dry skin around my nose and eyes so I'm always up for trying about a product that can stop my makeup looking flakey! Hydra Veil has an Instant Rehydration Gel Formula which creates the perfect base for your foundation! I normally use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer which I'm a massive fan of and I've heard that the Illamasqua Hydra Veil is even better so I can't wait to try it out!
7. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - £56.00 (Available here)
This product has a massive cult following in the beauty world and I'm still upset I haven't purchased it myself yet! The trio of lighting powders capture, diffuse and soften the way light is reflected on the skin! I love using highlighters as I think they completely transform my make up and leave me with a subtle glow! This price of this product is quite steep, however you are getting three products in the one package!
The total of all these products is just over £300 so I don't think i'll be rushing out to purchase them all at once but they will definitely be added to my make up collection over time!
I hope you all enjoyed reading one of my first wish list posts!
Love,
Samantha
