BOURJOIS | ROUGE EDITION VELVET LIPSTICK

So these velvet lipsticks have been out for a while now and the beauty world is obsessing over them, as am I!! I love these as you get the vibrant colour and velvet texture of a lipstick but they are just as moisturising as a lipgloss. With 12 shades to choose from, ranging from smoking hot reds, vivid pinks to everyday nudes, there is colour for everyone! 

I love the see through packaging of these, its so simple but its great as it allows you to see which colour is which straight away (great if you are looking for it in your makeup bag)!! The little glass bottles are more like lip glosses rather than lipsticks and they even come with a little applicator, which is great for applying it quickly and precisely. These apply like a gloss to begin with and have the moisture and shine of a gloss, however with seconds they have a velvet matte texture but still with all that moisture! The non-drying formula with 24 hour hold means your lipstick won't budging anywhere after a long days work and will even take you straight through the night!

Hot Pepper

Nude-ist!

Hot pepper is a vibrant orangey-red which is the perfect pop of colour for summer, the orange tones add to the red making it more summery rather than a wintery red. Nude-ist! is more of a rosy nude shade, it can be applied lightly for a subtle nude look or heavily for a darker look!
