SEVENTEEN | STAY POUT LIPSTICKS

One of my favourite drugstore brands out there is SEVENTEEN! It's exclusively sold is Boots and I would say its the younger, funner version of No7. 

I'm not really sure when it happened but I noticed within the last year that SEVENTEEN has had a mini makeover. They have really upped their game, their products have a much younger and fresher vibe and stand out so much more on the shelf. Before their makeover their product selection didn't really stand out to me as I thought it was quite plain, now with the new makeover they are releasing a wide variety of products including new eyebrow and contour palettes!

MY MAKE UP STORAGE

One of my favourite blog posts to read from other beauty bloggers is make up storage ideas, I love seeing how fellow beauty lovers organise their make up and all of the different products they have. One of my favourite parts of the day is sitting at my dressing table and doing my make up so its important that my make up is organised efficiently. When we moved into this house a couple of years ago I chose my bedroom especially for the dressing table and also the whole wall of wardrobes. All of my fitted furniture is cream which is great as it keeps my room light and airy as I don't get much sunlight directly into my room.

Now that summer has finally made an appearance I've been on the look out for some summery make up and this palette is perfect! When applying eyeshadow I tend to play it quite safe and use neutral shades a lot, so I'm hoping this palette will help me be a bit more adventurous with colours. I don't actually have that many Sleek products as its not normally a brand that I immediately think of when looking for make up, however when I saw this palette I knew I had to try it out. The palette reflects the famous Ibizan sunset over the sea, with canary yellows, hot oranges and deep aqua blues.

MY NEW MAC LIPSTICKS

So trying to not spend money really isn't going that well, Ive just had a Miss Guided delivery and then I ended up buying these two!! My bank account may be suffering a little at the moment but what girl can resist a MAC lipstick. I had only popped into MAC whilst I was staying in London for work to see if they had Velvet Teddy in stock - they didn't unfortunately much like every MAC store in the UK. Instead I picked up Twig, a shade I have heard a few people say is similar to Velvet Teddy and the super bright summer shade called Flamingo.

BOURJOIS | ROUGE EDITION VELVET LIPSTICK

So these velvet lipsticks have been out for a while now and the beauty world is obsessing over them, as am I!! I love these as you get the vibrant colour and velvet texture of a lipstick but they are just as moisturising as a lipgloss. With 12 shades to choose from, ranging from smoking hot reds, vivid pinks to everyday nudes, there is colour for everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely easter and aren't too depressed to be back at work or school after the long weekend, at least summer is starting to make an appearance, it's so nice not to have to wrap up with 20 layers!

REAL TECHNIQUES | BOLD METALS COLLECTION

I have been a big fan of Real Techniques brushes for a while now, they are such good quality without the hefty price tag! So when I heard they were launching a new luxe collection called Bold Metals I couldn't wait to try them out. The collection is a little more expensive starting at £10 for an eye liner brush to £25 for a powder brush, however they promise to be much better than the originals.

Whenever Boots have 3 for 2 on all their make up my bank balance takes a serious hit and this time was no different. I only called in there quickly to pick up some nail varnish remover and left with a bag full of new goodies.
