Pastel nails is one of my favourite trends for spring and I'm obsessed with this pastel shade from the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Collection! The revolutionary collection allows you to have gel nails in two easy steps and without the fuss of UV lights! The polish lasts for up two weeks and can be easily removed without the use of acetone!
Priced at £9.99 for the colour and top coat each it is a little more expensive than other gel polishes in the market, but I feel this is definitely the longest lasting one and the bottle will last for ages.
I have the shade Chalked Up and the name may suggest it is a chalky pastel purple, I think this is a great shade for spring!
Step 1: Miracle Gel Colour
I apply 2-3 coats of the colour on top of my base coat. The polish is quite thick so if you were in a rush you could probably get away with just the one coat, however you get the best coverage and it lasts longer with more coats.
Step 2: Miracle Gel Top Coat
Once I have applied the 2-3 coats of colour I wait for it to be partly dry and then apply a coat of the top coat. When the top coat has been applied it takes around 10-15 minutes for it to be dry although I try to leave for 20 minutes before I start doing anything that could smudge the nails (however one of my good tips if you do smudge your nail is to wet your finger and gently swirl around the smudge).
The collection has 47 shades to choose from and I can't wait to try out some of the other shades especially the pastels!
The polishes are available here.
I hope you enjoyed reading about one of my beauty loves!
